Mssql Connect

Hello!

I hope somebody can help me with my problem. I have a windows 2003 server with apache2 php running on it.
On a second physical machine is an sql server running. Until now we used the mysql database for web but now we want to change it and connect to original mssql database on the second machine.

My question is now what do i need to connect to this second machine - netuse or something like this. i tried to connect with the ip but it didn't work.

On my own machine i have already running this and i can connect with localhost etc.
