MySQL to MS SQL
I have a discussion forum which was developed in PHP using MySQL as the database however, dispite constantly reminding the client that their host needed to support MySQL, they have chosen a host that only supports MS SQL.
I'm afraid I know very little about MS SQL but wondered if anyone here can suggest the best solution e.g. convert the PHP queries etc to suit MS SQL (if so where can I find out which ones?), look for another forum which uses SQL or would all this be more trouble than its worth and I should tell them to forget it??? Many thanks in advance for you help |

You could convert your forum to Php ADODB thus achieving database independence.
