No SQL tables to link Access front end
I have converted an MS Access 2000 backend database to SQL 7. I am trying to link the MS Access 2000 front end database to the SQL 7 backend database tables. I created the odbc DNS, and seem to be connecting to the SQL database, but when I try to link or import tables, the list is blank.
The Front end is on my desktop, and the SQL database is on a central server on the plant lan. I have added myself as a user on SQL. Is there a permission problem or some setting to allow me to get to the tables ? I am familiar with MS Access, but new to SQL Server. |

when you set up your DSN for SQL, you must specific a DB, otherwise it will use the Master
and make sure that your user have permission in the DB |
