Recommended database size
I'm pretty new to SQL Server, and I'm doing an estimate on recommended spec for a new database server for one of our customers. The database will store max 3-6GB each year and they will probably be using this database for at least 3-4 years before doing anything with the database infrastructure.
Do anyone have any experience on how big a SQL Server can grow before it become difficult to handle? What will be your recommmended approach? Optimize the data modell or buy a larger database server?
Thanks...
