SQL Backups
Hi All and Merry Christmas/Happy New Year!
We are running SQL 7, and the way we are backing up the database, is to use the in-built backup utility, this backs up to a seperate HDisk in the server, and then this gets backed up to tape, in the evening as part of our network backup, is this OK to do, in regards to integrety and ease of restoration? Or should we purchase the SQL backup Agent for Backup Exec? Thanks for any thoughts and comments |
