SQL Server Replication, HELP?!?

I have a desperate need to maintain the same database on two different servers for redundancy. So if one server goes down the other will still be available. However, a Merge Replication works, but we are looking for a way of doing this without having all of the Replication columns and tables in our database. Is there another way to replicate databases to keep them synchronized? Please, any help would be great.
