transfer a database from my local databse to a remote machine
Hi!
I have a created a databse in SQL and in my local comp! I need to know how can transfer a database from my local databse to a remote machine! Please help me out! Thank you.. Bye |

I've done this before by copying the datafile (.MDF) to the destination server and the attaching it with the Enterprise Manager. To do this right click on the "Databases" folder and choose "All Tasks" then "Attach Database".
You could also move the data by DTS (Data Transformation Services) Hope that helps! |
