Using Indexes to Increase SSMS qry efficiency

Currently we are running SSMS 2008 and we currently have a Sql with 3 inner joins (1 table containing nearly 300,000 rows, and 2 other qry's).

This query took 28 minutes to run which is far too long. Currently we are attributing the long execution time to the long table. We are already using 5 primary keys which I believe are considered unique indexes.

I have been doing some research and I believe that using additional Indexes or sub indexes to the keys would be helpful. I am not particuarly very experienced in in this program which is why I'm asking here.

28 minutes to query 300000 records it is a problem....
you need to find where your problem. Look in execution plan, what indexes your query using, may be you need chage indexes or just rewrite your query to make more effisient.
try to use database engine tunning advisor to locate your problem
I have tables with 80,000,000 records which join with another table with 35,000,000 records and results came in in less then 1 second... it is your query and database architecture problem.
