Where can I download the SQL Databse itself?

Thank you for the link. I've manged to downlaod and install SQL Server.

So now i need an SQL database to run on it, right?

Where can i download that from?

(as you can tell, i'm a comlpete novice. I only know how to run SQL queries on MS Access)

Well the MSDE is a SQL database

You should really read some tutorials (probably on databases in general, then on SQL in general, then on SQL Server specifically.

The SQL Server documentation is also online on Microsoft's web site
