Before leaving work on Friday I kicked off two monster queries that I knew would take possibly all weekend. Over the weekend my local machine, which executed the queries, lost power. The server, however, was on battery backup and never went down. The query didn't expect any results. It just inserted some records into a table.
Assuming that nothing else when wrong can anyone confirm that SQL Server would have completed my query despite my lost power on the client system? I just want to be sure that the number of records I do see in the table represents everything that I would hope to see.
