ati 9600xt 256 ddr half life frame rate
i bought myself a 7nf-rz motherboard, the ati card and 768mg ddr ram and i chucked in my old 2000xp (which is only running at 1.25ghz ???) and with halflife i seem to be having quite low fps. Other games like hitman are running quite smooth. I've heard of some half life and ati card conflictions before, just wondering if there are any settings to help improve my frame rate.
Also how do i get my 2000xp running at 1.64ghz, i have my fsb speed at 133 and i've even tried others like 166 and 200 but it still runs at 1.25

check th emulti for the CPU. Try updating the drivers from hl.
