ati radeon 7200

Please help, I have a ati radeon 7200 video card on my pc and it worked fine, but now when i download a game or play a demo or game on line the screen breaks up into squres etc. and i cannot see the graphics to play the game. Can anyone help? I am mostly computer illiterate
