It would, though I'm not sure how much detail you'd be able to set.
Assuming that its in a competent computer as well.

NO,
Hold up, I've seen Battlefield 1942 on a 2.4C, and 1024MB DDR-RAM, with a Radeon 9700 Pro LAG!!!!!!!!!!.

It had about 80% CPU AI, Most High details, a couple on medium, and NO FSAA or AA! I wouldnt take the chances, I dont think a 9200 will cut it! You can still have a high end system, but the game will only run as fast as the game engine can take control of that hardware.

I can run BF prefectly with a 2600+ and 1024MB while only using a Geforce FX 5200.

All settings maxed out. AF & AA are set to 4X and the resolution up to 1280x960 (max my monitor can go) at 32 bit color.

Not sure how you got the A.I. cpu up to 80%, mine maxes out at 25%. But who wants to play the computer anyways? It's all about multiplayer.

From the looks of what I have read, the 9200 should run it pretty good. Not sure what resolution is your goal to run it at. Even running it at 1024x768 looks good to me.

Also, for the money, I would go for the FX 5200 over the 9200. Pretty much exactly the same, in both speed and price, but the 5200 is a DirectX 9 card while the 9200 is only a DirectX 8.1 card. Not sure if this is even that big of a deal though. But doesn't hurt having it.

Actually, the 5200 seems to be about $13 cheaper.

I hope this helps.

I agree with lancelot about FX5200 over the R9200.
@Nic_Italiano: Don't know how you got 80% AI, but if its true I would guess that's the source of your lag.
