ati radeon 9200 or nvidia geforce fx 5200?

I'm planning on either getting an ATI radeon 9200 256mb or a nvidia geforce fx 5200 256mb but which card do you think would be best? I'm on a budget and they were the best 2 cards i found for the amount i can spend. I hear the radeon 9200 is a bit faster than the geforce fx 5200 but it only supports direct x 8.1, will that effect game play much or is it un-noticable? Also since my motherboard is agp 4x will an agp 8x card still work?

Look where the 5200 and 9200 are in each benchmark, and make your choice (the difference in ram between theirs and yours won't make much difference.)
As for the 4x/8x AGP, both cards support 4x and 8x, so you're ok.

thanks alot, on them benchmarks the geforce fx 5200 appears to do slightly better than the radeon 9200 in the type of games i play so i'll go with that.
