I have windows xp home and I got a Pioneer 106D DVD Burner. It will play cd's and dvd's but when I want to use it to copy I get a pop up that says CANNOT ACCESS F:/
I am using a AverMedia Easy CD/DVD Creator. The drive is listed as functioning properly in my device manager and shows up as a place to SEND TO if I right click a file. It is enabled to record. The drivers are showing as good and working properly. So what's wrong. I have a video capture card and it works great. Only problem is NO ACCESS to burn dvd's. ![]() |

Right click on the dvd burner icon. Go to properties - see if you have a recorder tab section. If not, go to the following url and follow the instructions. Once completed, right click on the dvd burner icon and make sure you see the recorder tab. click on the recorder tab and set your recorder options. Should fix the problem. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;316529 |
