Chaintech FX5900XT overclocking problem
I have a Chaintech FX5900XT (390/700).
I've read reviews where people have overclocked theirs to like 520/810 and being stable without artifacts. Well, I can't get over 450/725 without RTCW stalling and having to reboot. It doesn't artifact, it just freezes up. I've upped the AGP voltage from 1.55v to 1.65v, but it still stalls out. Any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks, justinwilson@conwaycorp.net |

What's your temp? Are you using the stock cooling? If yes, try taking it off, removing the heat goop, and putting on a thing layer of arctic silver 5 at minimum, or even getting a new, better cooler.
