Cheap video Card

I'm looking at getting a new video card for my machine that I do work on. I want to run dual monitors from it and basically just use it for web development work and surfing the internet. I bought a Radeon 7000 for $50 ( which seems to be to much $ for something that old ) The card seemed to be sending choppy screens and slow scrolling.
I have a open X16 PCI Express slot on my board and some PCI slots. I'm looking for something cheap ( around $50) that will give me the requests above. No gaming or anything like that. All I need is it to just run programs like photoshop, macromedia products, etc. and a few internet browsers. Any info on this subject and ideas are great!

Pretty sure the GForce FX5500 has come down in price, that would do the job for you amicably.

Thanks for the info on the card! I checked into that one and liked it. I then came across the eVGA GeForce 6600 LE with 256MB and picked it up for $82.00 and three day free shipping. A little over the price range, but the 256MB caught my eye and it has a built in fan

i think you just need to get a new motherboard if you have pci because that is kinda old school you need to get a motherboard with AGP on it. because pci is getting a tad outa date and is really slow compared to AGP and dont worry not all AGP motherboards are hefty to pay for. same for the video cards if you a good price on one shop eaby.

PCI express X16 is the new technology AGP is now outdated his motherboard is just fine.
