    I want to buy a new graphics card but i'm not sure which one to pick.

    Yeah....If I were in your position I'd pick the second one....But lets get real....You can get an 8800gts with a higher 384 bit memory interface and more video ram for about 184 bucks dude...and the car is more future-proof than the 8600 which is getting a little old...
    but yeah
    if i had to the decide between the two id def pick the second one because the clocks are faster
