Conflicts with new sound card and headsets

I have a new Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 Sound Card, and a Logitech Extreme PC Gaming Headset.

Prior to the new sound card, my headset worked perfectly fine with my onboard sound card. I could communicate through any game, ventrilo, teamspeak, anything just fine.

Now, with my new sound card, when I use my headset, I have a LOT of problems. Whenever I am listening to music and have the microphone turned on, I can hear myself through it (never did before), and whenever I try and chat with someone, they say I am incredibly fuzzy and distorted.

I have all the drivers installed, so that shouldnt be a problem.

Is there anything I need to set within windows to use this new sound card with my headset?

I KNOW the problem isnt with the headset. It works fine with my friend's computers.

I would like to avoid having to ditch the new sound card and downgrade back to the onboard sound card. The sound quality is a ton better with the new card.

Yes, they are the latest drivers.

After google searching for nearly 3 hours, I have concluded that: I am not the only person with headset conflicts with this particular sound card.

I am hoping there is a solution to this.
