Connecting computers and monitors?

Hey all

I was just here pondering and wanted to know if there was an easy solution to my situation: I have a work computer and personal laptop and I was wondering if there was a way to connect the monitors together while not disconnecting them from their original computer? It'd be more convenient if I could run programs from both computers on both screens at the same time.

If so, let me know please. If not, oh well, I'll live

Thank you.

Brandyn

It's possible with two seperate monitors, for sure, but I don't think you'll be able to run the monitor on the notebook from the desktop.

I can connect the laptop monitor and a regular monitor already. There's a dual monitor connection built onto my laptop and I use it quite frequently.

this is probably not what you are after, but synergy is a neat client/server program that allows multiple computers to share the same keyboard/mouse via ip. you will be able to run programs from each computer on their own monitor(s) but i am not aware of any software/hardware that allows you to mix/match hardware/os amongst multiple monitors.
