dual head graphics card recommendation - or good PCI add-on
Hi folks,
Having upgraded my monitor a few months ago, I wasn't happy that my relatively good 17" CRT was sitting in the corner gathering dust so I started to investigate some different options. I am currently running an ATI Rage 128Mb AGP graphics card and so I'm looking for something than can support an additional monitor. I didn't realise that a graphics card could run through PCI. I use the entire Macromedia suite as well as Photoshop and occassionaly the odd bit of video editing. Any suggestions? The other monitor I'm using is an AOC 19" TFT with DVI/analog capability. go to your local comptuer store and look for a modern ATI Radeon most of the have dual heads, VGA and DVI. A good card its a ATI Radeon 9600XT 256MB and for $211CAD its not a bad price.
