DVD burning software
Put together a computer last christmas from new parts I had bought some time before. I bought an LG DVD writer quite a while back. Has software in it to do the DVD burning, problem is when I bought this drive, Vista wasnt out yet, but by the time I finished my build, I am running with Vista. So my DVD burning software is no good to me now.
I know I could contact the drive maker to see if they would send me some Vista compliant software, but I`m thinking it wont be free. Anyone know any free software on the net that copies DVD and will burn a DVD from other formats such as MPEG and AVI? Or can I get a download to do the same thing from my drive maker? |

You will not find any entirely free software that will do everything you want...(unless you're a pirate
)Take a look at "Convert X to DVD" http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/ This is the best, easiest to use software for converting just about any type media file into DVD format (VIDEO_TS)... another one is 'DVD Santa' you can probably find free apps that will let you rip existing DVDs
