Emu 0404 souncard

Can anyone help. I have had the emu 0404 souncdcard for some time. Recently one sice of the stereo has gone. Have checked connection cables etc and reinstalled drivers from the original disk - no joy. Anything to try or do I just get a new card? Thanks in advance.
