Error 80040707 (SB Audigy during driver update)

Ok. Creative doesn't have real number i can call were they wont charge me out the *** for their support on Their product. But before i go chew their heads off (and before i throw my computer out of the window) I figured id toss the error around here see if anyone knew of a fix..

I installed Wave Studio long after i did the drivers and other software ( i needed a wave editor, and this was the only one i knew of before my friend got me cool edit [aka Adobe Audition]) What i didnt know is that no matter what, it always installs the driver, so it reset the driver. Well i didnt relize this till the card started acting up with the old bug. So i goto update it.. and i get this...

I have tried everything short of re-formatting it just to get this stupid patch installed. Even removing the drivers, apps, everything didn't do anything.

You guys have any ideas?

What is the update ? Is it trying to install using InstallShield ?
