Good AGP vid card for BF2 USD 150 or less

System I have now at home is a P4 3.4 Ghz, 1.5GB Ram, and the built in 64MB shared vid card. Battlefield 2 looks like a cool game and since Ghost Recon 2 never made it to PC, and the fact it turned from a more realistic tactical sim to an arcade shoot'em up, I am thinking of buying BF 2, but I need a decent video card.

I am not looking for anything too fancy, but something that will run BF2 at 1024x768 on a 19" CRT monitor pretty well.

I am also looking to only spend upto about USD 150. If there was some great reason to spend an extra $50 I might be willing to do so.

Only games I plan on playing are the classic Rainbow 6 Games, Rogue Spear & black Thorn, Ghost Recon, GR: Island Thunder, FreeFalcon, my R/C plane simulator, and BF2.

This PC is really only for entertainment value. I spend all the real money on my Macs for video editing. Thoughts and suggestions welcome

Make sure you get a decent card. I bought Bf2 and whenever I start the game up my screen goes black!

BF2 is a game that requires quite high system performance. I've seen your specs and your ok in every aspect except vid card.
The min video ram is 128 mb so, you'll be looking for a 265 mb video card.
May i suggest some of the stronger GeForce 6 cards?
Or ATI X800 or X850..
I'm not quite sure of the price, but I'm sure you'll find a video card that suits your budget.
rather than people telling you what card to buy, try and go to the sites of the manufacturers such as ATi and Nvidia, you'll get a much better idea then.
