Headset wiring

I have just replaced a broken headset, (headphones mic...)

And today i stood up with them on my kneck, and suffice to say pulled the cable from one side... I just need to solder it back on, does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram or something for a standard headset to wire this thing back in?

Cheers

Dirk

The wires in my headphones are color coded, is that not the case with yours? Else you could look at the wire configuration on the other side.

Fixed this the same day I posted..

Nope they werent colour coded, and you cant look at the other side because the microphone only runs of one side... so basically it was trial and error.

Thanks for your reply.

Didn't even look at the posted date, lol. Nice thing about soldering is you can always undo one connection and try a different one.
Glad you got it sorted out.
