Exclamation Help with Integrated Audio

Please Help.
I recently formatted my hard-drive, so i had to install XP and everything else again. I have everything working fine, but i have no audio. when i go into "sounds and Audio Devices" in control panel, it says no audio device found. My sound card is integrated with my Mother board and it is enabled in BIOS. The sound was working before i formatted the drive. I have loaded my Motherboard Utility CD and there is no software for audio on the CD. I don't know what to do??

Did you right click > Scan for Hardware Changes in Device Manager? That should find it.

You say you've used the CD, but have you tried looking at the mobo manufacturer's web site for the drivers?

Two possible ideas:

1. Try d/loading the drivers from the manufacturer's website.
2. Enter BIOS and make sure OnBoard Audio is enabled.

If that fails, spend the 25 bucks and get a sound card
