How do I fix this?
I have a new sound card that is much better than the on-board sound that came with my motherboard but it still sounds like crap. I have both Windows 98SE and Windows 2000 professional running on my computer so I'm thinking it is a interrupt conflict but don't know how to fix it. I've had this problem before and right now Windows 98SE doesn't even boot and I know why I just haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. How do I tell the computer to forget everything in 98 and just worry about 2000 for now?

you want to get rid of 98? You should delete that partition first. Then when in 2000. Right click my computer - properties- advanced - starup/recovery settings - edit, delete the 98 line.
