I reformatted Now Soundcard IS DEAD
Ok , im on a HP pavilion ... this is what bascially happened.
My computer was having major problems , laggin up , couldnt get on the internet and programs that required the internet would not work. So i reformatted the way normal computer would, with a disc. However yesterday i found out i did not need to do that seen as there was a reformat program(HP Recovery) on my computer. I have now lost my soundcard and graphics card. Can anyone help ? |

quite often on the HP Recovery CDs there is a driver pack that needs to be installed after the initial installation.
Have a look on the CD, sometimes its on the recovery CD and other times its on an extra CD. If you can't find it then you might be able to download drivers from HP's website. |

I have the same problem. Do u have the Recovery section on CD and what is the name of your computer . Mine is a HP pavilion 712a and I have lost my back up cd's. If anybody finds a solution to this problem please post it up. I think alot of HP computers are having this problem.
