You know, we, five people living in different places, I am the only one to learn different things from what the remaining four guys are studying, they are my friends, for example, I am not the one who knows about Borland C++, and also not the one who knows about hardware and any relating stuff, but now, I would like to assemble all little pieces to make a comp on my own. For those who knows a little about me, I might sound weird and like a jumping.up.and.down monkey. But you know something, there are still a lot of things I still want to know, and !!! I dont care what you are thinking about me or saying about me...
Sure soonner or later I will make myself ONE COMPUTER !

(^_^) You know, of course, first of all, I have to appreciate your generosity to helping me out, teaching me how to assemble them, it is really kind of you to help a newb like me..
When you help me, other people see it and then when you are in trouble, perhaps they will then help you out, I say much like this because I have been waiting for someone to come for over three hours....
Three hours isnot long at all...
But you know, i am like a bottle containing the air I breath, and when waiting for someone, I just inhale without exhaling and you can imagine that when the bottle volume is full of air, how can I breath in then ? you understand my feelings, help me, my hardware gurus.Okay ?

Thanks so very much, ...hhh..(^.^)

Well a great site to buy computer components is www.ebuyer.com

To build a computer you are basically going to need:

- A case (and power supply)
- A monitor, keyboard mouse
- Processor
- Processor fan
- Graphics card
- Memory (RAM)
- Hard drive
- Floppy drive
- CD DVD readers/writers
- Motherboard
- Sound card, maybe
- OS

I think thats it (someone else point out if I've forgotten something )

HTH

Putting it together isn't as hard as knowing what to buy. If you have a little mechanical ability and know a little computer theory, are comfortable installing drivers and know your way around the O/S you'll be alright. You'll spend a lot of time debating AMD vs Intel, ATI vs nVidia, Crucial vs Kingston vs ???, which Mobo, which case, etc.

Absolutely - The building part is pretty straightforward, but deciding the componants - that is the hard part! There are so many different makes and models, and some may appear to be very similar, but then the price is so different. However, if you have any problems choosing the componants, I am sure someone here could help

Okay, your so kind to me, so i have a mission possible for you,

I think a winter jacket is just for covering body and protecting us from the cold wind...
It is just like the case covering all the little pieces of our computer, I think a cheap one is good, right ? Does a case have any brand ? if any, which one is best to choose ?
I now have only $2852 in my account, is it enough ?
I can ask for more, absolutely sure that I can get more more than that from my parents, but I would turn out to be a lazy stupid child...That money I saved from my part time job...

Thanks,

that's plenty money for a decent computer!!

Some winter jackets are better than others. A cheap case will cost you like $35 and come with a cheap power supply. You can shop around and get a good case with a better power supply for $65. A really cool case with a see through window, fancy lights and light up fans will cost you more but be way cool if you're into that sort of thing.

The biggest question is what to do you want to do with your computer?

Well firstly, there are many different types of cases, and yes different brands. Although the quality of a case doesn't matter as much as the quality of the components, I would not go for one of the very cheapest cases, as these can be not very well made, bundle with very noisy power supplies, and can be made with a material that doesn't keep the sound in the pc as well as other cases (ie. it can be 'noisy').
Hmmm... I'm from England, so is $2852 about £1800? That should be plenty. You can make a really nice pc with that

A good all round computer store as I said was www.ebuyer.com

They also have quite a large range of cases

The cases on their website are split into quite a few catagories. Personally, I wouldn't go for the very cheap £10 cases. If you want something different, click Pre-modded cases - these normally have a side window or something else .

Also, I can recommend the Antec cases - these are usually high quality. I think that these are in the Full Tower ATX section. I would go for a Full Tower ATX (large, plenty of room so easy to build pc )

Heres the link to ebuyers cases (I've even gone to the US part of ebuyer )

Is that your site ?

Okay, you know, It has been 2 and a half year since I 'climbed' up onto the net, walking around here and there, spending time chatting in some computer forums and I have to admit that you are the first one who dares to wink so many a time in your post like that...
Do you know I am a truly profesional Ninja ? I can kill people without leaving any traces, no one can trace me out...

It is just a joke for fun....

It is me, I love humorous people, and humorous things...True, I like to speak out what I think than to keep silent deep in my heart...
That might be the reason for why there are so many people here and there disliking me....
They say that I am abusing them to take their knowledge whereas they are real cruel abusers with so many cruel intentions to harm people...
I have just come to visit the site I used to be a member, oh no, to be more correctly, a banned member...it is not out of my interest at all when I see another VIP appearing on the stage advertising her/himself: "imported from Danmark, staying in Germany to study<--this makes me laugh, I am proud of myself because now there is also someone who wants to become another "hometown".
I used to hate people who do something the same as I do, but now, since I have no 'relation' to that site anymore, I realize how much I am happy. True !
If you are new to that site, I can send you in your email the name of that site for you to visit, I dont post it here because I dont know if this site has any relations to that site...

Finally, i would like to say thanks to you for pointing me to that direction, I am glad and lucky to know of you...

Thanks

-Custery

Smiling might be what I like to see from your posts...
Yes, the world is going around...
I am not in US now, but I think some well-known manufacturers have their products around the world, I thought you would know some good cases that I can buy which was why I made questions.
Do you know of any good cases manufactured by UK ? I will try to pay for them...
Dont worry, if you like, I will TRY to PLEASE...your introduction.
