Laptop Charging issue

Hi All,

I have got a starnge issue with my Laptop charging...


Sometime its start charging automatically, sometime with green light and some time with red light.. sometime I just need to set the lead to charging port of laptop so that charging start... I tried replacing the adaptor but of no use...
If I fold the cable of he charger very near to laptop then it keep on charging...

Please help me as it getting me frustrated.

how old is the laptop/battery?

I've heard that in many laptops, the first thing to go is the barrel that the charge plug gets plugged into on the laptop. Replacing this "barrel" (female plug) fixes the problem.

the problem is in the charger chord problem,when u moving the charger that times u may seen the change.
