Media Player/ Recorder help--- please

Newbie, first post:
I want to make an instructional video (Aprox. 2 minutes)
I want to ad vocal instructions to the video.
I want to burn it, send the cd to anyone who has a computer and have him/her view it on their Windows Media Player.

What hardware/Software will I need?

Thanks for ANY help

More specifically, I would like to make a series of instructional videos, Each of approx. 2minute duration, put them all on one cd, and when the viewer finishes one segment he/she could click open the next one.. Total playing time---approx. 40 minutes.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.
