    Newbie help with AGP Compatibility

    I need to upgrade my AGP Video Card. My board is Asrock Ge Pro see link below

    asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=GE%20PRO-M2

    I wish to use either one of the below cards

    xpertvision.com.tw/en/products/nvvga_5500.html

    gfe.com.hk/Product_Details.asp?id=91&class1=2&class2=

    I am not sure if these are backward compatible with this 4X AGP board. I have no idea what "Fully PC00, PC99 and PC99a compliant" but could be relevant.

    I also got this from the expert vision website

    **AGP 8X features:

    * Isochronous support: support streaming applications for a continuous data transfer
    * Higher bandwidth: 2.1GB/sec
    * Higher strobe rate: 533MT/s
    * Backward compatible with AGP 4X: same connector and signal pins as AGP 4X

    I don't really understand what this means. The retailers have been quite apprehensive to help me. Any help on the card choice (So I don't blow the board or card) would be really really appreciated

    Cheers

    PS
