No audio
Hi,

I have a dual core processor, SigmaTel High Definition Audio on board sound card, main board is Mercury PI945GCM, 1GB RAM, 160GB Harddrive.

When I tried to update the driver with a new driver, it exited saying Device Object not present.

And even now the audio device is not listed.

it says no audio device

The device manager, in sound, video, and game controller, it is listed that:
Audio codec
Legacy audio drivers
Legacy Video capture devices
Media controll devices
Unimodem Half-duplex Audio device
Video codecs

how to solve this

Is the cd or dvd with the drivers that you got with the board, the right one? (model number).

Smile Mercury Motherboard Drivers
I have a C2D processor, main board is Mercury PI945GCM, 1GB RAM, 160GB Harddrive. BUT I LOST THE MOTHERBOARD CD. SO NO AUDIO! WHAT TO DO ?
