AMD Athlon 3000+ Barton
512 MB Radeon 9800 PRO 128 A7V8X-LA mobo I'm installing the aforementioned video card in the AGP slot of my mobo, but when i put it all back together, and I turn on the computer.. nothing.. the power goes on, but there's no visual.. I've disabled the onboard in windows and in the bios. but nothing changes... any ideas? |

You have onboard video? When you transition from onboard graphics to an add-on, you must first disable the onboard in the BIOS, which it looks like you've done, then move the video cable from the video port on the motherboard to the one on the new video card.
If that doesn't do the trick, ensure that the card is well-seated... sometimes the front end doesn't always go in.
