On board sound lost!!
Yeah i recently formatted and re-installed windows 98se on my girlfriends computer. She lost all the documentation that came with it and everything (of course!). The problem it has an on-board sound card that i don't know the name of. I can't seem to find a name for the motherboard either. I'm imagining it to be on the backside of the board which is a pain to get to. Are there generic Windows 98 sound drivers that i can try? Thanks.

you have a name and model number of the computer? there is no generic driver .you will have to either identify the motherboard, or supply the above information.
