Video Card Error - i can't get this fix..
Recently this being contineus error happening on my PC..
and i can't solve the puzzle here please help.. I'm running: Window Xp pro sp2 1025K DDR Ram 4.0 Intel P4 Video card Express PCI: Radeon X1650 Pro (Just got replace to solve the problem) before it was Radeon 800X. Cons: surf web's is fine nothing happens.. most like are during the game i play. Radeon Smart Recovery Crash and it auto recover the video setting's freez my computer for few second and runs back to normal then later if this happen within each 10-20 min again it freeze my computer complectly i had to hold the power button to turn it off.. is it my motherboard problem then? or it's might had to do with the CPU? please help thank you!...

Hi Scyn and welcome to Dev Shed.
Does this only ever happen when you are playing the same game ? Have you checked the requirements for the game ? Are the requirements for the game too high for your specifications ?

Check if there are updates for the game and any driver updates for your video card. Typical for games they put them out to market ASAP then wait for user complaints to flood in to alert them of bugs needing fixing, then the updates come.

I assume you have all the proper cooling with the computer? Otherwise, I would check for updates.

thank you all for reply. i take them apart what i found that the CPU Fan was dirty. i haven't clean for awhile.. after i clean it put it back in with new Thermal Compound now it works fine.
Again thanks for all you're responds was big help  ..
