Please help i know nothing about videocards

Heres the thing let me get right to the point. my friend gave me a videocard it is the Geforce Ti 4200 i know its kinda old but mine is too. mine is a radeon 9200 SE.



and as far as the geforce Ti 4200 all i found is
GeForce4 Ti 4200 Vertices per Second: 133 million
Fill Rate: 4 billion AA samples
Operations per Second: 1.03 Trillion
Memory Bandwidth: up to 8 gb/ sec
Maximum Memory: 128 mb

I do not know anything about videocards and dont really have money right now to buy a new one. so i was wondering if you computer wizes can help me on choosing which one

I have a nVidia 8600GT 512MB, it's not bad, but it's not great either. If you're looking for a high performance card at an economic price, try one of the the 9000 series. But that being said, I havn't been in the market for a video card in a while so if anyone else knows I would also like to know what cards are best.
