Hi all,
First i want to apologize to all the hardware gurus for the mutilation of hardware terms that is about to follow, sad to say i am only a software kind of person .My Radeo 9200 graphics card i had installed a few months ago has been acting strange of late. The monitor will turn off for no reason and will no come back on until after the system is rebooted. This only seems to happen with my games that have low memory requirement. While the high load games are kinda choppy none of them make the screen go off. Oh, i have looked for driver updates online and haven't found any, plus as far as i know there is no extra connection strip to attatch the card to another power supply. Has anyone had a similar problem. |

well, one of the ways to check for overheating is to turn the computer on for a few hours then put your hand near the card and see if it radiates heat.
