Thats a pretty decent computer. It will play most anything, though you won't get FarCry or Doom 3 on high graphics settings (and of course online games may lag through no contribution of yours).
If you really are going for a gamer computer, you'd want a better graphics card. The Radeon 9800pro is the best "mainstream" card out there, and costs just under $200US on newegg.com. The next step up from there would be the nVidia 6800 GT, but that costs twice as much. You also might want a gig of RAM for max gaming performance. Neither of the above are absolute necessities though, as I said, that setup will handle medium settings at least on anything out there.

Hmm I think Id either get the max ram 1024 ram or should i get the Geforce 6800 ultra for 500$ ( if u find cheaper places tell me).
What do u suggest? I use Cable Shaw Extreme for my internet computer But if i do both...... how will dat be? play EVERY single game?!!! |

There's not much reason to get the Ultra for $500 instead of the GT for $400, especially since the GT can be overclocked to Ultra speeds. Doom3 is very graphics card dependant, so this move will increase your abilities there, but no card currently available can handle "Ultra" detail with full AA and AF. (Not that it matters, the game is stunning even on "medium" detail).
Internet gameplay will always depend on circumstances beyond your control, but your computer will definitely not be the bottleneck. As I said before, a computer of the specs you have will play any game currently available, and upgrading the graphics card and ram will allow about the highest detail settings on just about anything but Doom3 (which will humble any computer when cranked up all the way). yes, for nowadays games, It should work well, but maybe in some games, you should lower the settings to medium, and after that mostly it's fine, and I recommend more memory to decrease loading time
