    Speakers on the monitor?

I have never known what these speakers on the monitors are for

I have a 17" TFT techmedia monitor which has 2 small speakers but they never make any sound and I haven't managed to find a manual to read about it.

Does anyboy have any idea how to get them working?

Firstly, are you sure that they are speakers !?

If they are, they will only make noise if you connect the speaker cable to your pc. Did you get a cable with the monitor ?

If they are speakers there should be 1/8" jack on the thing. If you already have sound though I wouldn't bother, the speakers on a typical generic monitor are worse than an am pocket radio. Fine for windows "feedback" beeps and boops but nothing you want to listen to music on.

The sound quality on my view sonic monitor was horrible and barely audible without turning the volume up as high as possible. It may be a volume and speaker quality problem.
