Switching from a Nvidia card to an ATI card.....

Hi guys,

I just purchased a sapphire radeon 9200se ( yes i realize its a low end card but hey im on a budget) to replace my old geforce 2 mx. I've heard that their can be problems when switching out a nvidia for an ATI card if it isn't done correctly.

CAn anyone help me out with the steps I need to take to swap my cards? My 9200se came with no manual whatsoever just the card and a drivers disc.

There are programs available to remove your graphics drivers, or you can do it yourself. Boot into safe mode, then go to device manager and uninstall the graphics drivers. Then install the drivers for the new card.
