    I am trying to create a database that will store HTML code for my pages. Previously I have used "varchar(#)", but the max is 255. I would like to use something like "text(#)", but I get an error message everytime I try to do this. Any suggestions. Sorry this is a dumb question, but I am new to this.
    Thanks.

    You may try blob columntype or text columntype:

    create table testtbl(page BLOB);
