Hi,
After I finish installing Linux, I got the problem about the httpd problem. Every time when I run httpd, I got the following problem: httpd: can not determine the local host name. Try to use the ServerName directive to set manually. When I install linux, I set my linux 'myserver' as my linux host name, and set the IP is 192.168.0.101, and the DNS is 192.168.0.1(it is another machine as my proxy.), and that is. I hope you guys can give me some advices. Thanks. April, 2000 |

You _SHOULD_ set your hostname as "myserver.xxx.yyy" so apache won't complain about such problem.
You may set "ServerName <A HREF="http://www.xxx.yyy"" TARGET=_blank>www.xxx.yyy"</A> in your httpd.conf. Please post similar question to 'Apache' forum instead. Thanks. |
