I’m trying to install phpMyAdmin when I type: http://localhost/phpMyAdmin I get the error message below. Could anyone please tell me the reason for this, and how I can solve this problem. I have already edited the config.inc.php3 file.
Warning: MySQL connection Failed: Access denied for user: ‘root@localhost’ (using password: YES) in lib.inc.php3 on line 99 Fatal error: call to unsupported or undefined function mysql_die() in lib.inc.php3 on line 99. |

Do not run any web apps with access as the root MySQL user. Make sure you set a root password and granted another user access. HTH marty |
