when I try to use mysqlhotcopy I encounter the following error

Perhaps the DBD::mysql perl module hasn't been fully installed,
or perhaps the capitalisation of 'mysql' isn't right.

I googled around and suggested solution is to install DBD::mysql through cpan

when I try to install DBD::mysql using cpan,

I encountered the following error:
