I just moved a db over to our server and i am trying to INSERT into the db, i set the perms on the files as well as the dir's but i still get and error saying the db is readonly!
Pleaze help, Thanx DK

Are you sure you have INSERT permission on the database? What error message is it giving you when you try to insert? Check in the mysql permission tables and see what they can tell you about access permissions.

the error i am getting is: ERROR 1036: Table 'FAVORITES' is read only
I have set a GRANT ALL on my root user and even changed the perms on the file itself... with no luck DK
