We have many tables in our database, and now the most important and big table does not response. When we run any SQL query using this table it does not process. We don't understand what's wrong, and our hosters too ;(. So we will be very grateful if somebody helps us.

What do you mean it doesn't respond? What error do you get?

Actually i have no errors ;(. If i try to select some data from this table there is no result at all! Nothing.
For instance, if i write in mysql shell:
"select count(*) from THIS_BAD_TABLE;" and press enter, nothing is happened. It looks like shell hangs up, but it does not.
Similarly, any Perl scripts that use this table cann't work. It is very bad, because my boss cann't understand the difference between webmaster and webhoster ;(

    AlexTRJ,

first check it out whether your table is their or not ,issuing "show tables"; command.

but any way it should show some error...

also issue some very simple "select" queries.

    It exists. I'm sure
I called my hoster and he said that because of my table hangs up all his databases, he will drop it. Hah! What do you think about it?
