    I've got MySQL installed on my server. Good!
    I can create a database called 'test'. Good!
    I would like to create a database called 'lexikon'. Impossible!

    I know that I have to add a user and a host(?) to the mysql-database. What do I have to enter? Could any1 give me an example?

    hostname: whoever.com
    user: me
    database: lexikon

    I need to know a little more information before I can help you.

    1) What error message does it give you?
    2) Can you connect to MySQL using the user 'me' or does 'me' not even exist yet?


    In any case I'd suggest reading the MySQL Administration article as it will probably be able to answer your questions. Check it out at:
