I have a table IMAGETB with a field IMAGEFLD of type LONGBLOB. I have a file C:myimage.jpg. I would like to insert the file into the table. I know that people suggest that it is more efficent to store the path into the table but I have to do some testings with storing the files into tables. I cannot fined any reference to this process. Is it possible to do it from shell or it has to be from a program? Whot would be the command to do that? I am new with MySQL and any reference to inserting files into tables would be helpful.
    Thanks
